Hi there everyone this is my first post but I think y'all  should like this.

I use "ToneThis" to make all of my ringtones and I have been using the free version forever.  Here is the link to this program from CNet If anyonewould like to try it out.
http://www.download.com/ToneThis/3000-10440_4-10329859.html

It's a great program "nope not hawking it just a very happy user Grin!!. I usually grab songs etc. from "Frostwire"
http://www.frostwire.com/
{as i find that this service tends to have less garbage and viruses then limewire} and then save them somewhere easy to find.  For myself I just made a folder on my desktop that I put them all into.  With ToneThis, you can take any song that is in mp3 format, grab the file while in the program, then using the editor pick which part of the song you would like to have as a ringtone.  Then you can send it to your phone for free.  It comes as a text message that you have to download so you will get dinged for the kbps usage but that's it.  It also comes with an option to keep a folder of your edited ringtones saved for future uses or to send to friends.  Another nice feature with this program is that you can also take images and edit them to any size you wish and send them the same way and store them in your locker as well.  i have been using this to make my wallpaper.  I own the enV2 and it all has been working fine .  When you go through the list to pick which phone you have it only lists the original enV as it hasn't seemed to have got around to listing the new one yet but just mark this as your phone and you are good to go!!!!

do those sites work on canadian networks, ie. telus or koodo. And if they do, am i charged for recieving the data? Usually 1 kb is a couple of cents, a ringtone is alot of kbs, and therefor i would have to pay alot of $. So am i charged for this? I only have unlimited text but no data.

i believe its free. you should be able to download them to your computer and send them to your phone via text message. that way you will only be charged for the text message. in that case if you have unlimited you will be just fine. dont quote me on that but i know thats verizon. they do not count texts as data.

No it wont work with telus and koodo, sending a text message with the ringtone will also not work, you might get the ringtone as a sound file which you can't save as a ringtone.

In order to get them for free is to connect your phone to the computer and use BitPim, then save the ringtones from the sites on to your computer then transfer with BitPim.
It might also work with Bluetooth too, your computer needs to be bluetooth enabled to work.
