I go to Phonezoo.com and Myxer.com. I haven't been liking myxer lately. I haven't been able to find the things I want. They used to have a bunch of stuff but they changed a bunch of stuff. It's still a good site. They have wallpapers, ringtones, and games.
BTW, I have the Willy Wonka flute call when he calls the Umpa Lumpas. I like it. I found it on Phonezoo.

There is no charge. It comes via pix message so as long as you have that covered in whatever plan you have it's free. I prefer phonezoo over myxer because myxer gives you a file that you have to send to your phone using you accounts e-mail. For example 10digitnum@vzwpix.com. The ten digit number is of course your own phones number. Phone zoo sends it straight to you. I just prefer phonezoo. I've made a lot of good ringtones using that site. |

This is how I get ringtones. Go to youtube. Find a video that has a song that you want as a ringtone. For example a music video. Copy the URL. Then go to http://www.mediaconverter.org/index.php. This is a media converter site. It's completly free. On the page there's a little box that gives you different choices to what you want to conert it to. Pick the second dot. The one that says "Convert a video or music by url (http, ftp, mms, mmst, mmsh and rtsp)". Then paste the youtube URL. Go to the next step. Convert it into an mp3. Keep pressing next until you get to the loading screen. This usually takes about a minute or so. When it's done converting press the download picture. Save it in some file. Whatever as long as you remember where you put it. Then go to Phonezoo.com. Go to ringtones and then press "create from file". Insert the mp3 that you just got and then edit it. Now you have a new ringtone. It's a lot easier than it sounds. Hope this helps. |
