Help!!
Ok. I will start here. I have down loaded the cd that i got with my phone, set up a account with Rhapsody.(I did not buy in) I transferd music from my itunes but when i plug in my phone to the computer Rhapsody does not show it. Unless i put my put my phone on mass storage then it shows it as a e removable disk, Then i drag songs to it and the card shows the songs but the phone does not!!??? I try to synk the phone and it says Check your connection to the pc.. I do have a 1g card. I have tryed doing the format thing but it erases everything. Angry
Is ther any other eazer way to transfer my music or is somthing wrong with my phone/computer?

Thanks

Ed

i found out you have to format the SD card first by putting it in the phone and turning on the music and trying to use the SD card in memory
when you do this it formats the card

then when you put the SD in ur pc it will show the folders.

BTW- you cant load the music by folders you have to do individual songs
i got a lil over 270 songs on my 2 gig SD

hope this helps

I have a question on this subject but I didn't want to start a new thread so I'll ask here. Do I have to have the special USB cable to plug into my phone. Is that something I can get anywhere or do I ned to get it on some special site or store? and if there's another way to get music from my pc onto my phone without the USB or SD card I'd greatly appreciate it.

Ok thanks. Is there anyway to transfer music without a SD card? Also, I was planning on getting a micro SD with a normal SD adapter. Could I take music from my mp3 player and directly plug that into my env2? Thanks

not sure about plugging in the mp3 player into the phone part Wink but according to what I read you can use bitpim to transfer (given you have a usb cable).  However, the phone's internal memory is < 100Mb so it can't store a lot of songs.   If you really intend to use the phone for mp3 I think you really need to use a micro sd card.  I bought a Kingston 4Gb under $20 in my local pc store so those cards are now dirt cheap.

I always use Windows Media Player to transfer music to the phone.  It works quickly and perfectly, and it even puts the album artwork on the phone so it will show in the menus and while it's playing.

I've loaded music (mp3) from WMP on to 2 different SD cards, but the phone won't recognize it.  Any ideas?  Thanks-
