Hi everyone! I've been using a pretty basic LG cellphone for 2 years now but I luckily found a Env2 on the ground (yeah, I swear Tongue, and with the same phone company as mine and everything; I'm with Telus (yeah the phone is actualy called Keybo Tongue))

And I was wandering if there was a way to transfer my current phone account and number from my old LG to the Env2 i found even if there's already an account on it?  Sad

you actually have to call and check to see if the esn was reported lost or stolen. if it was never reported you can wait til its deactivated then activate it on your account. i know verizon has a way of doing it online but if telus does not you will need to take it into the store and they will activate it. but if it is reported lost or stolen you have to turn it in and i believe the owner has a choice of what they want to do.

Yes, I know with Verizon, if the owner has reported it lost or stolen, they can lock it out from ever being used again until the owner calls again to report it found. If the owner has filed an insurance claim against the loss, it becomes property of the insurance company and must be returned to them. It probably works about the same way in Canada.
