Is there any way to jump to the END or HOME of a line like on a computer? I keep looking at that nice "END" button in the top right corner, about where a REAL "END" would be but know it "ends" the session.
If you have more than a full line of text you can jump up and down in the text making ti a little easier, but still not the same. If you start a TXT and do not finish a full line, you sit there either tapping the arrow key 30 times or holding the arrow key (with a repeat rate of about once per second, with 30 letters that is 30 seconds, plus the 5 second delay before the repeat kicks in). I guess it wouldn't be so bad if the cursor started at the end of a draft.

I accidental did something that skipped to the next word every time I hit the arrow and do not know exactly how I did it (similar to <CTRL>+<ARROW> but not holding anything). There is a super sexy looking "Fn" key in the top right that only calls up a menu from your home screen but does nothing in TXT mode, why can't they use it to combo and allow you to do something like HOME/END/SKIP WORD?

(I have used this trick: type a string of 'M' characters like MMMMMMMMMM ('M' being the widest char), then hit <RETURN>, then the back arrow, then down. This will get you to the end faster, but then you need to erase the string of 'M's before you send or you look like a dork.)

If anyone knows how to skip words like I was able to do that one time, or jump to the end or beginning of a line, please let me know. This is a pretty stinking good phone, but a feature I use all the time on the computer can not be used here and it makes me sad.

I found a way to jump to the start of a txt if you needed to insert something: hit up to get to recipients, hit a letter, then "CLR", then down. this will skip the cursor to the HOME of the txt.

No one else was able to skip over words yet? I did once and cant do it again!

I find it easy if you switch the text messaging text size to large. Than it is easier to skip to where you want because there are less letters in a line.

ok... Now that i found how to get to the start of the TXT here is how you get to the END:
Set up your signature to have nothing in it but a <linefeed> (i am sure a <space> would do the same thing), then when you need to skip to the end (like if you added a contact and are now at the front of a long single line) add the signature and you will be given an extra line after all your text and the cursor will be at the end. Now you can skip up and down a line with the up and down arrows!

one cool think about using MMMMMMMMMMMM to get around is that all you have to do is hold the CLR button rather than hit CLR 15 times.  Wink
